Abstract
This study aims to analyse the effect of public service quality on community satisfaction at the Takalar sombalabella village office, which was triggered by a decrease in community satisfaction during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used is simple linear regression with data processing using SPSS version 21. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires using convenience non-probability sampling techniques involving 100 respondents. The results showed that there was a significant effect of public service quality on community satisfaction in Sombalabella Takalar Village. This finding implies that improving service quality can increase community satisfaction. The implications of this research emphasise the importance of improving the quality of public services to ensure community satisfaction is maintained.
