The purpose of this research is to analyze the differences in work stress levels based on gender among employees at PT. Ciomas Adisatwa Pabelan unit. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a comparative descriptive research design, where data were collected through questionnaires from 60 respondents consisting of 21 female employees and 39 male employees. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistical tests, normality tests, and independent t-tests to see the differences between the two groups. The research results indicate that there is no significant difference in work stress levels between female and male employees, and the stress levels in men are higher compared to women. These findings contradict several previous studies that showed women are more prone to experiencing work stress than men. The conclusion of this study is that gender may not be the only determinant of work stress levels, and it is necessary to consider other factors such as job type and organizational culture in future research, as well as to take into account biological, psychological, and socio-cultural factors in addressing work stress in the workplace.
